Not to my knowlege no. Escaping the VM and exiting the host is almost imposible. you really should see the federal customer list of VMware 
it is good practice to seperate your management traffic from your VM traffic. dedicated NICs to dedicated physical upstream switches is the way to go.
you could also use VMware vShield deivces to add further protection to the guests on the hosts.
read the VMware hardening guide for advice on how to tighten the security of your environment. remember the ESX 5.0 is Commen Critera certified to EAL4+
