I'm running vmware player 5.0.1 on windows 7 x64. I rebooted the host after suspending my VM, and when I try to play the VM after the reboot, I get the error message in the subject. I've attached a screencap of the error, my vmware.log, and the vmdk file it refers to. I did some looking on the knowledgebase, and it talks about using the virtual disk manager (vmware-vdiskmanager) to rebuild the vmdk file, but I don't seem to have that program. Is it only for vmware server/workstation? Can I download it somewhere? Is there an easier fix? My disk is stored in multiple files, do I have to rebuild each one?
