Go to the VPN tab and try checking the status of the tunnel: do you see checkmarks in the Status, and Channel Status columns?
You can also try running the command "show service ipsec" on the Edge itself, as well as "debug crypto isakmp" & "debug crypto ipsec" on the ASA. You want to make sure that the VPN goes through all the phases of Quick Mode and Main Mode. The debugs should give you an idea of where the problem is. You can always post the results here as well.
