Unable to connect to the MKS remotely

I am running vCenter / ESXi 5.1. When I run the vCenter client on the LAN, I am able to open the Consoles of the guest machines.  However, when I run the vCenter client remotely I get the following message when I try to open the Console:

Unable to connect to the MKS: Failed to connect to server 192.168.123.141:902

However 192.168.123.141 is the internal LAN address of the ESXi host.  (The vCenter server and the host are not on a Domain.)

I have tried forwarding port 902 to the vCenter machine and then to the ESXi machine, borth with no luck.  I can connect to a Console internally, but not remotely.

How do I specify the domain or IP address that MKS will use to try to attach to a Guest console?

Thanks.
