View Client for Mac OS X v.1.7 and M$RDC v.2.1.1 Display Size defaulted

Has anyone been able to set the RDC client Display Size to other than 640x480?

I just installed View Client for Mac 1.7 (941674) and Microsoft RDC 2.1.1 (110309) on OS X 10.6.8 and all connections are fine until the RDC session starts.

I can't seem to set the default screen resolution to other than 640x480 (default ?? ) since View Client creates a random RDC session to 127.0.0.1:<random-port> each time, so saving the RDC session is fruitless.

I'm not a Mac user, but is there a file ( as in Linux ) to tell RDC what it's defaults should be?

I can't find anythin in MS support site, nor on VMware about this.
