Hmmm...interesting
I do all my backups on a per vm basis therefore I have a config file for each vm and use the "-c" switch for each run.
I was not aware that it was possible to use a combination of "-c" and "-g" in the same command since it is not documented AFAICS.
In order to get unique emails per vm backup I copied and pasted from the global config into each individual vm config file which allows for customisation of the senders username which then gets parsed (and shortened) into the From: field
EMAIL_LOG=0EMAIL_SERVER=auroa.primp-industries.comEMAIL_SERVER_PORT=25EMAIL_DELAY_INTERVAL=1EMAIL_FROM=root@ghettoVCB
As posted elsewhere i am having trouble with the Subject: field but I do not believe it is related to this usage.
