Afaik IBM does not support ServRAID for any version of ESXi. What they provide though is a customized version of ESXi and/or an Offline Bundle with CIM providers for supported models. Although this may provide you with more information about the health of the system's components you may still have to monitor the hosts manually, because SNMP is only available with paid editions and for SMTP you'd need vCenter Server.
What might be worth thinking of is to at least license Essentials for the hosts to enable SNMP for monitoring (see http://kb.vmware.com/kb/2005377)!?
