We have about 2000 windows 2008 R2 virtual machines where we need to upgrade from e1000 to vmxnet3. I am looking for a script where I can upgrade and keep the IP of the guest. Some of out virtual machines have 20-30 IP's on a single network interface. We already have a script which upgrades the VMtools and Hafter verison to v8. Any help would be great.
